
Melissa has been a dietitian for 5 years, working in a variety of different settings including Diabetes Prevention, Hypertension, Intuitive Eating, and Non-diet counseling. She has a Master’s of Science in Nutrition from Meredith College, where she also completed her dietetic internship.

Sophie Abikhaled // MS, RDN, LDN
Sophie Abikhaled, MS, RDN, LDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is dedicated to helping clients rediscover their relationship with food and their bodies. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from The University of Mississippi and her Master of Science in Nutrition from Appalachian State University. She completed her Dietetic Internship in New Bern, North Carolina through Appalachian State University.
Sophie incorporates principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® (HAES) to work collaboratively with her clients in order to help them identify sustainable recovery goals and reclaim their mind-body-food connection. She has worked in the residential setting for adults and adolescents struggling with eating disorders and is passionate about providing individualized, trauma-informed, gender-affirming care to her clients through a non-diet approach.

Christina Caple // MS, RD, CEDRD
Christina Caple, MS, RD is a Registered Dietitian who is experienced in treating the full spectrum of eating disorders - with a special heart for adolescents and their families. Christina has spent the last nearly ten years working as the sole dietitian responsible for eating disorder treatment in an outpatient clinic. During that time, Christina had the opportunity to serve clients with other health conditions including pediatric feeding difficulties, maternal nutrition, diabetes, and a full spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders. In the past two years, Christina has gained additional work in mast cell activation syndrome, Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome, dysautonomia, and endometriosis, as well as functional nutrition testing such as DUTCH and GI Map.
Having faced many of the same diagnosis as her clients, she has a unique understanding of the challenges you may be facing. Because of that, Christina’s first priority in patient care is building a relationship on trust, respect, and empathy. You will find that individualized, patient-centered care is of utmost importance as Christina helps you reach your wellness goals. She believes in “food freedom” through intuitive eating and learning to love food and your body for all the beauty they hold.
Christina has been lovingly referred to as the “anti-dietitian” because of her deep love for chocolate and still learning-to-like most veggies. You can guarantee she will meet you where you are, lovingly encourage you, and celebrate every victory with you - no matter how big or small.
Christina is a Registered Dietitian in the state of Arizona and Licensed in the state of Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Alabama. She is also a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor and has completed training with Monash University for the dietary management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

Maria Buitrago // MS, RDN, LDN
Maria Buitrago is a registered dietitian who works with individuals healing their relationship with food, body, and movement. She has a special interest in supporting athletes in recovery and people navigating complex medical conditions alongside eating disorders. Whether you’re dealing with performance pressure, persistent symptoms, or years of feeling misunderstood by providers, Maria works to understand the full picture and tailor care to what actually fits your life.
She earned her Master's Degree in Nutrition Science from Tufts University and her Bachelor's Degree from Auburn University. She is currently pursuing her Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential, building on a lifelong interest in movement and her own background in bodybuilding.
Maria is known for her curiousity, warmth, and directness. She takes a weight inclusive, trauma informed approach and often incorporates intuitive eating, body image work, and invidiualized meal planning. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing looks different for everyone, and she is especially attuned to details that others may overlook.
Maris is LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating a safe, supportive space for clients of all identities. She sees clients virtually and is currently accepting new patients. Spanish speaking clients are welcome.

Taylor Meyer // RDN, CSO, LDN
Taylor earned her bachelors degree and completed her dietetic internship through East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition with over a decade of experience in the outpatient nutrition world. Taylor has had the privilege to work with clients and their families during their darkest times. She offers her nutrition knowledge as a light to help clients navigate towards habits that nourish their bodies. Her ability to let all parties involved feel heard while acknowledging the difficult and complex relationships that can be involved with food choices empowers her clients to evolve their habits.
Taylor's attentive nature, in depth understanding of the digestive system, and creative suggestions for improving one's quality of life make it easier for clients to implement changes and achieve success. Her use of quirky metaphors and detailed explanations about the human body make the nutrition counseling she provides more digestible.
Taylor believes in the healing power of nature and often encourages her clients to get outside. She usually can be found running with her dogs outdoors, practicing flowarts, and writing. She is motivated to nourish her patients so that they, too, have the strength and energy to pursue their passions.
